Digital Binder System for Direct Support Professionals

This project is a UI/UX case study that reimagines how caregivers manage documentation in supported living environments. I designed a digital binder system to replace paper forms, making information easier to access and helping staff stay organized. The system centralizes essential details, allowing employees to quickly view and complete forms, reference individual support information, and access documentation across multiple homes as needed.

I focused on designing the homepage navigation, header bar, and three core documentation tools used by staff:

  • Staff Communication Log – a required daily form

  • Supply List – a new tool I designed to improve efficiency and communication of needs

  • Activity Log – a form used to document individual engagement and progress

The project involved research, low- and high-fidelity wireframes, and interactive prototyping in Figma, all with a focus on real-world usability in care environments.
